I guess the reason I decided to comment is that I tried a form of the "hybrid" tuning (the Emmons in my avatar) that Buddy Emmons used awhile in the '70's; 12-str E9 with a C# between E & B. But mine was more E9 in that I finished it off with the 12th string as low G# instead of low E....

I like the look of a plain Emmons. I've been playing them since 1980. When I started playing the all-pulls I've just removed the LL sticker from them.
