What can I expect from high-end tone bar?

I am currently playing with the basic $15.00 Ernie Ball chrome tone bar. What improvement can I expect to get from a high-end (a.k.a. expensive) tone bar? Thanks!!!

Welcome! I got my Carter-Starter back in January and couldn't be happier. Perfect guitar for us newbies. I also have Jeff Newman's Up From The Top video course. What is considered proper placement?...or is it this srictly an individua...

Is it time to change strings?

I have been playing about an hour a day for 3 months on the original nickel strings that came with my Carter. They still seem to sound fine but are showing a little corrosion. Any recommendations on when should I change them? Also...I have changed lots of strings on my telecaster....are there any sp...

Country Instrumentals Please!

I am looking for traditional country steel guitar instrumental CDs. I bought Mike Headrick's "Slanted" record and enjoy it very much. Any recommendations you have would be appreciated....
