Lost a great South Texas musician this morning. Sad to post that Johnny Rhinehart passed away this morning. Those who were ever exposed to his playing respected him and his talent. I am proud to have known him and called him a friend. RIP John

Greg...I bought a D10 new in 1973 and played in for 30 yrs...still have it. Those MSAs are the mechanical standard I hold all other guitars to. Haven't found one yet that exceeds their design, IMO. I give Bud Carter his due for that. Tone...now that's a different story.

Sorry to hear about his passing. What a great player. Wish I'd had the chance to work more with him.

Just wanted to say "congrats" to my friend JC Burt for landing the gig with Charlie Robison. You earned it Bud. JC, if you don't know him is one of those players that the rest of us hate.....plays everything he lays his hands on & is handling vocal harmonies with Charlie. You go guy!

Good suggestions all...but they pale in comparison to seeing him live. Make the most of the experience by standing next to the stage on his side.

Activities start around 2 pm and run until... I believe it will be some sort of structured ja...

I am looking for some type of adjustable metronome device or software...that will provide a variable tone (E, A, D, Bb, etc), as well an adjustable beat. Hopefully free.

Any thoughts?
