Fender Dual Pro tuning pans

Hi Greg. I have a couple of old pans that are stripped and are somewhat rusty, etc. Also the crossbar is the wide one where most pans have a square crossbar. I just repaired my old Fender D8 tuners and let me tell you it was a job but I did it and also plated the pans. Regards. Paul.

look like. Do you have any pix of them?
Thanks. Paul

Danny, would you have the email address of Jim Palenscar (North County Steel Guitars)?
I would like to ask him a guitar question.
I am using the forum here because my email

I do appreciate hearing what all you guys went through during your careers. The general gist of it sounds very much like my first career which was a Morse code radio operator in the military. I fould that while one is starting to learn the code it looks like a very large mountain but you keep at it ...

I'm W7CHG from Tucson, AZ. Been a ham for lo these 55 years and a CW military operator for seven of those. Have not done it for a long time and it sure looks like a dying artform.
It's fun but hard to find people who still do it. Any other military CW ops out there???

Well, Uncle Sam kindly invited me to a free trip to Korea in early 1951 to ride them old C-119 "flying boxcars" for awhile. There was this guy in the barracks who had a Gibson 6-stringer lap steel who could play the best country music you ever heard! I was hooked and one day he says he had...

You hit my music button! Carl has been my idol for 50 years. I'm sure I have 99 per cent of the songs he put out and I really appreciate his songs and style. Like you, however, I have lost track of him since he more or less quit the music business and bought into his horse farm in Tennessee. I would...
