Since this guitar was first put up for sale, Norm Kidwell, aka tenstrings has passed away. This guitar now has the correct Martin ebony bridge as well as a new Martin pickgard. The neck has been reset and the bridge plate replaced. All of the above work was performed by a certified Martin repairman....

You know Geoff, just because it has pedals, doesn't
mean you have to play pedals. All of the same C6th
non pedal music is still on there. Happy New Year.

Norm passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 21,2010. Lets give a prayer for his wife Rosemary and the family. You will remember him as a buyer and seller here on the Forum. He and I were lifelong friends and he took up pedal steel about ten years ago after retirement from the VA.

Steve, The pedals and knee levers are all set up to what has become standard. The A B and C pedals are Emmons and not Day. The two changes on string two are what has become standard. It would be an easy matter to make any changes you would care to make. DW
