I remember watching Ray Charles on some late-night talk show, about fifteen years ago, and he was asked by the host, what he thought of Rap. You could see the question made him uncomfortable and he hesitated, before finally bursting out, "Man,... they just talking."

you would probably need a plug in to do that.
I use Serrato pitch 'n time, which would solve both your problems.

It's expensive, but there are other cheaper plugins that do the same, but I'm only familiar with this one.

Anything by Billy Mays, including the Ballad of Oxiclean, Orange Glo, and Kaboom.
I think his beard actually amplifies his voice, which definitely grates on my nerves.

My last project I recorded direct, using only the Black Box, before the preamp. I ended up sending my aiff files to a Pro Tools studio in another city where the cd was being recorded. I recorded to Pro Tools (LE), through an Apogee A/D converter and a Brent Averill 1272 preamp. I always record dry a...

It's an hour long, but it's very informative, and Hal Blaine is very funny. http://6...

thanks for the update on Hotel Honolulu, i was puzzled and did not think the steel guitar playing was up there in the greg leisz class... wonder why this CD has the erroneous credits... I guess I can reply to this one. I was in a bass player in a band in the late sixties, and we had rehearsals in Bo's studio-garage, in Chatsworth. He actually was our manager. It was about that time that country-rock was developing, and we asked Bo if had any old pedal steels lying around, and amazi...
