I heard from Gold Tone and they said that their cases fit old Weissenborns perfectly as they build the re-issues to original dimensions.

Does any one know if the Gold Tone Weissenborn cases fit real Weissenborn guitars? Any info would be helpful.

I had a BC-1 installed into a Wechter/Scheerhorn hybrid and it made a big difference. When the original cone was compared side by side to the BC-1 in a simple sound test, outside the instrument, the BC-1 had a much more musical tone and greater harmonic content to my ears. Paul Beard sells an 8 string G6 set of phosphor bronze strings, called BR 80's. The gauges are as follows;
17, 19, 27, 30, 35, 45, 56, 59.

I beleive they are made by D'Addario, and packaged for Beard.
