I'm a steel player from Alaska. Absolutely love Curly Chalker. My all time favorite. Very inventive. Never got to meet him. I have played with Emmons and with Thumbs once or twice but never met Chalker unfortunately. I wish that more steel players would use different tunings and styles like they use...

Question: Has anyone tried a black box in front of a rack system? ShowBudSuperpro, TrueTones, Hilton, BlueTube, TranstubeFex, Mossvalve 1500.... Hard to think it could work any better. To me its better than any combination of LTD 400, Session 400, Session 500, or Nashville 1000 or Fender Silver Face...

I was watching grand Ole Opry Live today and was watching Joe Nichols perform Farewell Party. I didn't catch the name of his steel man, I sure liked his sound. He has a nice sound, smooth, with alot of finess. Does anyone know who this is?

Has anyone compared the BB preamp to the Blue Tube preamp? Would like to know. Thanx, Dan Keough

I like the tuner very much. But about 25 years ago I switched from C6 to A6. So if I'm gonna tune A6 should I change the root to A? That seems to be the closest one. Can someone please advise.

I have a blue tube, transtubefex mossvalve 1500 and 2 cabinets with 15" Peaveys. Have blown 3 Mossvalve 1500s and 3 speakers in 3 weeks. Does anyone have any ideas on hoock-ups or what could be going wrong? Using Hilton pedal and Super Pro Sho-bud. I can't figure out whats wrong. Has anyone els...
