Anyone looking to drop $$$ on a Rusty Anderson model should be looking at this guitar. The RA is supposedly based on a '59, but the necks are very different on those guitars, compared to this one. I played one at Sam Ash here in Nashville the other day. Not saying it's bad...but it's definitely diff...

That would be my guess, Remi. But I've seen the pickups closer to the bridge on some later single-cuts as well, so it's hard to know for sure. In any case, there are no leaning studs on this one, so that's good.

Bump for the OP. I have one of these, and had it reconed by Weber using a D120 kit. I have it in a blackface Deluxe Reverb and it sounds great.
