Amp Condition
It has a couple of cosmetic issues; a cracked knob, a small tear in the cover and a small dent in the case. Functionally, it is in very good shape. I haven't used it for over a year, mainly because of the weight. My Telonics is much easier to move around.

Live Steel Strings
Sid,
I am very happy with the strings. The sound is clean and crisp with good body. I am also pleased with your extra effort in getting the non-standard gages I use in my tuning. I will be ordering more from you.
Thanks
Mike Brewer

Music Man Amp
The best Music Man model ever made for steel guitar
was the 115HD. This had the 150 Watt chassis and a single 15" EVM speaker. I sold mine a few years back and I have been looking for one every since. It was the worst mistake I ever made. It was very heavy but the sound was fantastic..

Chuck Foreman
In 1959, Chuck and Buddy Kendrick and a drummer whose name I can't remember were working at Hal Greg's Steak house in Anaheim. I lived right around the corner and I used to stop in whenever I could. Chuck was still playing his 6 string Multi-Kord. They had a great group. Buddy was an impressive voca...

GS is OK but, I have found that liquid solder flux (I get mine at Sears) works better. Put a tiny drop on the end of each finger, give it a few seconds and when it feels sticky put on your picks. They won't come off until you pull them off.

Two fully functional 12 String IVL Steel Rider systems with pickups and cables. Also, three synthesizers. Two Roland U-110's and a Kurzweil K-2000. The Kurzweil has 700 samples on the hard drive. The Steel Riders should not be separated. One of them would be the only source of parts in case of a sys...

Wade Ray at Cowtown
The guitar man on "Bill Bailey" was most likely Bill Carson. I spent a lot of time there when I was working down the street at the Saddle Club. Eddie Martin on steel, Monty Mountjoy on drums and Stan West on bass. A great group. The name of the club had been changed from Cowtown to The Red...
