I too was saddened to hear of Jess's passing. I would visit with him when I was in his area and yes, he did love the steel guitar so much.

I don't get much time these days to visit the Forum , but I wanted to thank everyone for the emails and comments. There seems to be about two more years of shows yet to come that I was on during the Hee-Haw years.

I had the pleasure as many others to have Bobby riding guitar in St. Louis and he was always there just when you needed him...never too much, never too little. You will be missed my friend. Rest in Peace!

Dan was a personal friend of mine, as well as many others who I'm sure share the same thoughts, and I miss him very much. I just received my copy of Jim's newest CD, and it is everything one would want, and then some. The playing, production, and selection of material will cause this CD to be in my player for a long time!
