Goodrich, Hilton, or Telonics volume pedal- to Canada

I have a Goodrich H-10k pedal that has served me well for nearly 20 years. My dad needs an upgrade and I’d like to get him something nice. The H-10K is pretty much all I am really familiar with, but I’m up for trying something different. Whatever is easiest for my dad to adjust to, I’ll probab...

If it helps at all, many or most of these pieces came from the shop of Joe Delarond. I've searched the internet for keyless parts, spent hours searching the forum, and emailed Wayne Link. If anyone knows how to get a hold of Joe directly, I'd appreciate finding out. I understand that he had a stroke...

Need help identifying steel guitar parts

I need some help with figuring out what some steel guitar parts are. Some are finished, some are not, some are changed parts, some are keyless tuner parts, some are pedal steel parts, some are non pedal steel parts. Here are just a few to begin with. https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix1712/2453_...

Fascinating. Did he drop any hints as to how he extended it? I set up my 8-string lap steel with just the middle 6 tuned to Leavitt, so that I could eventually extend it in either direction. I'm not there yet, but I'm very interested in where one would go with 8 strings.

Great to see you back, Mike! Quick question for you- how do I go about ordering the .mp3s and .pdf files? I ordered one each of the Leavitt books and CDs a number of weeks ago, and didn't see the digital version on your site, so I ended up paying for shipping, too. I haven't received a shipping noti...

Just a few thoughts, in no order of importance: -There will always be someone, addicted to horror, that claims the sky is falling. -There are ebbs and flows throughout history. So what if the electric guitar "dies" and the acoustic guitar takes over? Are we so stuck on one tree that we mis...

To those that think it is greed to amass such a collection, let's apply your viewpoint to other types of collections. Maybe then you'll hear how ridiculous you sound. -Postage stamps: "Wow, think of all the letters that poor college kids could be sending with those." -Cars: "Think of ...

I love how the legs line up with... nothing in particular. Several pictures seem to be pictures of pictures. The ad states that the instrument is unique, one of a kind; in fact, the only one of its kind. Dear me, how sad. Kind of like a spotted albino elephant, except that this thing probably weighs...

Thank you all for your thoughts, and for taking the time to write. It's been a fun read, and seeing some new articles is always eye-opening.

I'll plan to write out my copedant, as suggested, and move my E lower to RKL. Then I'll see what happens. :)

Thanks again.

Thank you all so much for your thoughtful replies. You gentlemen are the best! I'm feeling more encouraged already. What am I not getting? Well, I'm not getting my head wrapped around the concept of two combined tunings. "One big tuning" it ain't, at least to me. I'm still thinking two tun...

Hi, Tom, I'm having a hard time uploading the copedant via my phone, but here is a link to the for sale ad, which includes the chart. Basically, the body is as small as a U-12 can be; keyless, single frame with no extra real estate anywhere. http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=278839&...

New to U-12, and missing D-10

I have played a Carter D-10 for about 13 years, and a few months ago my curiosity regarding U-12 kicked in, and I bought one. The first things I noticed were 1) the B6th pedals are less comfortable to reach, and 2) all my levers become compromises, especially in B6th mode. I felt as though I was gai...

Some of them will surely be for sale. There is another gentleman who spoke for some of the MSA parts already, so I'll need to make sure he gets the first swing at them.
First, I need to figure out what I can use, and what I can't.

Thanks for your help, gentlemen. I wonder if someone was trying to reverse-engineer some parts, because there are two more bodies/frames under construction, and loads of little parts in plastic containers, like bell cranks, pedals, and a wide assortment of keyless tuner parts/ideas. I need a some help identifying some pedal steel parts.

Hi, Y'all! I inherited a whole bunch of random pedal steel and non-pedal steel parts, and I have no idea what some of them are. I have tried to put similar parts together, and some I think are "in-progress" pieces for instruments that were never built. http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpi...

You know that the Zip code is so-called because packages are zipped across the country a couple of times before delivery, right? This is normal practice, business as usual. :\
I do hope you get your guitar back soo, and unharmed.
