Sad news. I did some gigs with him in the early 80's. He was a very humble man.

I played at Buck's club about 20 times. He had these for sale at the cash register. I regret never buying one. They sure are purdy!

I don't know if he made guitars, but Albert Johnson was an expert on repairing steel guitars. He rebuilt a D-10 Emmons push/pull for me. New shiny black mica finish, re-jeweled the necks, wonderful setup etc. He told me he worked at the Cadillac factory before retiring. He was a really nice guy and ...

That was awesome Joe. Glenn was bigger than life... Pure poetry in motion on the guitar. I met his son that played drums. Wonderful person. My Mother died of Alzheimers and all I can say is "God Bless their Hearts"

I was playing a gig at a casino and a band from Sacramento was playing there also. I asked them if they knew Chris and they said "Yes, great guy, great musician", so I called him up and we chatted on the phone. He was as friendly as a man could be. RIP Chris
