Reminds me of the musician who won the lottery. The newspapers asked him what he would do with the money. He replied 'Just keep on gigging till it runs out'.

Thanks for the ideas. I never got involved with anything like Kickstarter but it looks to be worth looking into.
Happy New Year

Albert playes the solo from 2.14 to 2.38 and the outro. He and Gerry Hogan graciously appeared on our CD as guests, but not on videoclips. The guitar playing girl on the clip is miming.

Yes I see your point, but this setup is only for my 'road steel'. In a 7 piece band the bottom end gets a bit lost in the mix so Im ok with only the higher E to F. I see it as a B6 with a few E9 'sounds' available. There's some wild chords to be found with this setup!.... have to play it a bit more....

I'm not trying to be funny..... I genuinely do work as an astrophysicist for my day job, (I'm in the field of Near Earth Asteroids). My colleagues are always talking about super-string theory. None of 'em seem to be able to put it to any practical use on those pesky third strings that always break t...

Just got my old Carter back with my dream new copedant...

http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix1205/2270_Matt_D_Coped_1.jpg I just had my old Carter U12 steel refurbished and set up by a chap in Germany called Wolfgang Benhartz who makes WBS steels. He is also a set-up wizard! This is my dream minimalist 5 pedal 3 knee lever setup. Buddy Emmons has no C ...

Winnie Winston's instruction book

Can someone burn me a copy of the CD that goes with this book? Mine wore out......
I'm sure Winnie would have turned a blind eye to the copyright issue. I have bought several copies over the years.

I forget who it was but there was a wonderful story about a steel player being approached after the gig by a young and attractive female audience member....who said to him...
"I think its wonderful that handicapped people can be in bands too...."

Another video from the Shanes. 'Fremantle Doctor' is the nickname of a cooling breeze that blows though Fremantle in Australia in the summer. (Bon Scott is buried in Fremantle).
