My Evans has a master and a volume knob. Why? and what is the difference between the two?

Thanks for the info. All the leads are in good condition, and the wiring is pristine. I'm having my repairman check it out, but with everything in such good shape I'm thinking something is wrong in the pickup.

I should have mentioned that I checked the amp with my guitar and it performs normally. So the problem is definitely somewhere in the steel, thanks though...

help! sudden loss of volume

Anyone ever experience a loss in volume? I've got a Derby S10 with a George Lo's E66. All the leads are in good shape. I've ruled out the volume pedal and chords. The guitar has a practice level volume with a Fender Deluxe Reverb on 10.

Evans E200 Amp?

Anyone know anything about these amps? I recently played thru one, it sounded great but not a very loud amp. Is it intended as a studio amp?

Electrical chord test?

Just bought a volt meter and testing my chords. I'm getting readings all over the place. What should a normally functioning chord read on the meter? Any comments on chords with a long life?

Thanks guys. I guess the Stringmaster might be the key ingredient. Long live Leon!
