Thanks Andrew.

Trying this on my ShoBud. Sounds nice solo. No band rehearsal for a couple of weeks. Guess that'll be the real test!

Appreciate you going to the trouble of making this for us.

Stew,

Thank you for the great photos and review. Very interested to hear your feedback after the gig.

Re scale length: other Excels seem to be 24.25 inches, slightly longer than many older PSGs. How long is the Robostar?

Cheers,

John

Hi Jeff,

I went through Paypal checkout, and it did charge me $10.95.

Perhaps the promo code is not sticking?

Thanks,
John

Hi Jeff,

I tried to use the promo code STEELFORUM, but got sent to Paypal for a $10.95 payment.

How does it work?

Thanks,

How long are those cross shafts? They look maybe from a double neck guitar?

Thanks.

I'm 6' 7". Currently have a two-inch lift on the front of my ShoBud, and the back higher, so the fretboard is tilted somewhat. Still a bit cramped under there, so I've just ordered a additional set of pedal rod extenders from the forum store to take the front height up another inch. I'm also lo...

Thanks Dave! You reckon I can tackle this myself?

ShoBud 6139 upgrade options

Hello all, I'm new to the forum, from Sydney, Australia. I have a ShoBud 6139 from December 1975. It has, I believe, the "Super Pro Undercarriage", i.e. NOT racks, and with nylon tuners. Three pedals, but only one knee lever. I would like to add more (probably 3) knee levers. Some posts he...
