After much thought & contemplating I have decided to hold on to this guitar for a while. Just realizing that if I do sell it I probably would never be able to get another like it. I guess it’s just a case of cold feet! Sorry J.D. & Marty as well as anyone else watching this one. I should hav...

Marty, I'll let you know when I hear from J.D. I'm sure we can work something out if he doesn't want it. Charley, those stories are far too common. I have quit ordering anything heavy from anywhere because it never fails that the end of the box is blown open, parts missing etc.... so then I have to ...

Charley,Thanks for your comment! You are right that you can't get a new one for this price....fact is you can't get a new one at any price. They quit making the Millennium's when the carbon fiber got too expensive. Marty, thanks for your interest! J.D. is going to talk to MSA on Monday, he had some ...

MSA Millennium S12 E9/B6 8/5 $4,200

I hate to part with it but I don't play anymore so this great guitar needs to be in the hands of someone who will play it. It's in great condition, built in 2004 by the great Johnny Cox. It was lightly played for about 10 years and has been in the case for the last 5-6 years. Black Twill, George L P...

Glad you enjoyed it!! Branson has changed a lot over the years but it is good to hear there are still some good shows with good steel guitar. I'm going to have to do some serious research & planning before my next trip up there!!

You know, my hat is off to the musicians/singers/comedians that can pull this off!! I had some good friends that were close to several of the members of the Baldknobbers back in the 80's-90's so I got to hear about the behind the scenes of the show quite a bit. I'm not sure how it is now but back th...

Dean, I think you have the right attitude to be successful playing music for a living & I hope you are able to do that for as long as you want! For me, music, whether listening or playing is a hobby so that is where my whole view is based on. I have been fortunate to be able to make a decent liv...

Over the years many different types of shows have moved in. There has been a steady decline of shows based on traditional Country Music. This is exactly what I have seen as a tourist! I went to Branson a lot in the mid 80's to late 90's & traditional country music was king!! I can't even begin ...

Well Robert I hate to hear you feel slighted but it may be a blessing in disguise depending on what type music you like to play! I would suggest just going & see the show before you feel too bad.....I just didn't hear much room for steel as in the way the classics were. There was maybe 2-3 songs...

On my way home from Branson today I was thinking that out of the many times I've been there over the years, this is the first trip I went and didn't hear a single steel guitar! That is partly my fault because I didn't do enough research & partly because there just isn't nearly as much real count...

Where Is The Steel?....Baldknobbers

Well, I've been gong to the Baldknobbers show in Branson for at least 30 years and went again last night & to my surprise, when the curtain opened...NO STEEL!! Then I get on the forum just now and see Dean Holman has moved over to the Presley's!! I wish I had known that a few days ago, I would h...
