MINT CONDITION fender 1000 double neck pedal steel look!

I don’t care who you are, this is the coolest piece I’ve ever owned. It belongs in a museum. I would bet a lot of money it is the very best condition fender 1000 in the world. It really is perfect, even the cases. I bought in an estate sale in Kansas City that I happened to stumble upon on tour....

GFI D-10 for sale 8x5

Hey guys. I’ve decided to unload some of my guitars. My beautiful blue baked on aluminum finish gfi is something they stopped doing about a decade ago. It served me all around the world and on the tonight show and all the shows and football stadiums. It’s been a great companion. But it just sits...

Miranda's White Liar had some great steel on the outro. If you're looking for flashy self indulgent awesomeness, you won't find it on this track, but what a cool vibe! It enhances the song! I think the extended outro is only on the record version/iTunes.

Hey everybody! Long time, no talk!

Hey everybody, I haven't been on here in years, and I've recently started finding my way back. I just wanted to say "hey" and to give a little update on what I've been doing. I graduated college, Belmont University, last May. Then, I started attending the Frost School of Music at the Unive...

Nashville Star - What a JOKE!!

I have been watching this show from the start, though I really don't know why I've been watching it this long. The judges have no credibility as far as judging music goes. You've got a Music Librarian, an entertainer's husband, and some woman. It's not very entertaining. The singing is one step abov...

David Wright, I agree with you. Tone comes from your hands. No doubt about it. Johnny Cox, thank you for letting me try it out. It gave me many headaches trying to decide what choice to make. I appreciate all the help. There might have been other pick-ups that could have gotten that sound I was afte...

C Dixon,

I hope I didn't offend you or anything. It's hard to tell the tone of one's words when one is typing. hehe

I'm glad we have a forum like this to just talk about steels and such. Thanks, B0b.

Your friend,
Abraham

I don't mean to influence anyone by these comments. You really just have to hear it for yourself through your own amp and say hey or nay as you would with any other guitar.

C Dixon, "I have NO idea how it sounds. But after listening to Tommy white and Johnny Cox play one on the GOO I am satisfied the sound is to die for. So sound would not be a factor." Well, you obviously have some idea of how it sounds, if you are to make the comment that it wouldn't be a f...

The New MSA - An UNBIASED opinion

I have recently "test-driven" the new MSA Millennium at the lovely home of Johnny and Joan Cox. I must also say that I have tried out many if not all of its competitors the last few weeks, for I am searching for a new steel myself. I am here to tell you how it "stacks up" to what...

I must apologize for my "mouth runneth over." Producing steels should be the priority. I sometimes get riled up, and, as a result, make myself look a little foolish. I actually tried one of these steels out at Johnny and Joan Cox's lovely home. Of course, that's enclosed in another topic.....

If this is true, Donny, then why does it say on the website, "Millennium is now available in 7 solid colors: Vestal White, Royal Blue, Jade Mist Green, Vivid Red, Claret (burgundy), Sable Brown and Super Jet Black (shown above). Millennium is also available in clear which exposes the Carbon Twi...

How come still no pictures of colors on new MSA

Why are there still no pictures of different colors on the MSA website? And, to the people that have received their new steels, why haven't you posted your pictures, or at least described them? Who's going to order a $6,000 guitar without knowing what color they're getting? How bout some colors. Mr....

Hey everyone. anyone got pictures of GFI's?

Hi everyone. I went to their website, and they say they have many colors and finishes, etc., but only 3 or 4 are shown. Are there any people out there that can post pictures of theirs. I'd like to see various designs and colors. Greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hey guys. I can't get the sound I want (Or any good sound for that matter). I know its not the Amp. All the pros use them. I'm not even getting close to the sound I had on an old CRATE amp. I'm in desperate need of help. Is anyone willing to give their setup? I would appreciate it. Thanks. P. S., Do...
