6-string pickup replacement
I acquired this Granada recently. They were made by the same company that made Jedson, the Fender Deluxe 6-string clone. The pickups are original so needless to say they’re dead. I’m considering 2 options and need some help with where to find the right parts for either. 1. Replace with 1 “soap bar” ...

Thanks guys. Yeah, this guitar is a clone of the Fender Deluxe 6-string Stringmaster. It’s the exact same guitar as a Jedson. Guyatone made and sold them under 3 different names, Jedson, Granada and Commodore. Funny side note…. because this one was marked Granada instead of Jedson, it was unbelievab...

I really like the sound of the EMG S in my other lap steel, as well, I have them in 1 of my strats, but am skittish of having 2 in the Granada as I don’t know whether they’d react like they do in the strat, which is a nice fat bluesy sound, or if they’d distort. And with the 3-way switch, how would ...

New guitar - Question about pickup & potential needed part
Hello everyone. I’m a relatively experienced lap steel player but brand new to this forum. For years I’ve been playing a cheap Rogue lap steel, of which I modded everything. The only original part left is the body. I’ve always wanted a vintage guitar though and this past week I stumbled upon a Grana...
