Steel w/ Harmonizer ???

Does anyone use a Harmonizer with Steel, I realize it will not respond to slides correctly, but it still look like you could use it.
I play parts w/ fiddle now and need that third part. (no guitar)

Thanks,
Jim

12 string E9/C6 tone pickup?

I was reading the discussion about the Lawrence 710 vs 910 pickups. Doesn't someone make a pickup for the 12 string, that with the flip of a switch you can have a great C6 tone or great E9 tone. I play a Emmons double neck, would love to get a good 12 string, but I'm scared to death, I can't get the...

Lefty, A general explaination from a steel player is: The Profex II has a bunch of stuff (effects) in it. Has over 100 presets if you want (I use about 6). It has EG settings, many different Reverbs, Digital Delays (has a stereo delay for 2 amps) Chours,Compessor, Distortions and Overdrives for &quo...

Profex "fiddle simulate" ??

I work with one fiddle in the band. We do some parts together. Would like an occasional twin fiddle sound. Does anyone have a suggestion on what settings to use on the Profex II to accomplish a simulated fiddle sound. Or are there better fuss devices available? (I have played octaves w/ a fuss years...

Dennis, I haven't actually hooked them up at the same time and repeatedly switched them back and forth. I didn't think I needed to.... Because when I first hooked it up it was obviously hotter. So hot I had to back off my highs quite a bit. And the tone is ,,,so ,,,,much better. Didn't realize how m...

3B eq / Nash 400 eq

I don't really have a question. But I thought for the Profex II / Nashville 400 users. Did you know you can get a better tone by using you 3B eq on the Profex sparingly, and use your Low, Mid, Shift, High on your Nashville 400 (or 1000 or Session)as usual. When I first got my Profex, I understood yo...

Profex II (Steelbro patch) ???

I have the original Ram card Jeff Newman put together for the Profex II several years ago. I can not find "Steelbro" on it. Did I erase it? I think there is a DumpinBro or something like that. Can someone give me the setting to set up a "setting" for the Goodrich MatchBro?? Thank...

In Jeff Newman's video on the Profex II, he warns us to not place the Profex on the pickup side of our guitar...
