Bee-YOO-tee-ful! Aged like a fine wine!

I particularly love that volume pedal! Loved having that foot tone shifter.

Re: Fender 1000 Dimensions?

Also, the OEM pickups and wiring are MIA, so I'm looking at the Sentell LS-10 (P-90 style) pickups with a Mojotone Telecaster wiring harness, complete with output jack and three-way pickup switch. Am I on the right road with the wiring? That should work fine. I replaced one of my 1000 pickups with ...

Thanks everyone for your help with this! The Sentells are ordered. They build them to order, so we're looking at about two weeks for the pair. I'm going to have the gang at Professional Music Center in Urbandale (Holla!) handle wiring and setup. Their owner recently passed away, so I want to show su...

mine is 38.25" x 12.25" x 5.5" (1" added for the knee levers, would be 4.5" without levers). https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix2020-03/20550_20210422_091102_3.jpg Nice! The one I scored is a blonde with brushed aluminum. Have you had any issues with the stock wiring?

Fender 1000 Dimensions?

Hey all! Just got a line on a '59 Fender 1000 project. Can anyone tell me what the cabinet dimensions are so I can start shopping for case ideas, please? Also, the OEM pickups and wiring are MIA, so I'm looking at the Sentell LS-10 (P-90 style) pickups with a Mojotone Telecaster wiring harness, comp...

I'm with the SX8 group. Im gigging with one and have had zero issues with it. (The 60 cycle p-90 hum adds to it's nostalgic charm. 😆) You can't go wrong for the price, considering everything that comes with it. I'd advise losing the stock strings as soon as possible and putting on a balanced tens...

Hi Jimmie!

I saw that you had a D8 Stringmaster kit a few months back. I was getting ready to put an order in, then I saw that you had run out of them. Do you have any plans for another run of those?

Thanks for the hard work you put in!

I can dig it. The thought was that I'd make the C6 neck a ten string to expand the note range, but I sure love the idea of a fat vintage pickup to offset a George L or similar. I would've loved to have seen that Stringmaster/S10 rig. I can see where it would be a bit of a reach to get to the far nec...

Sweet Setup!!!

$8K might be a bit out of my budget, though. The missus would definitely be giving me that look you get before really bad things happen. 😆💀☠️

Combination PSG/Lap Builders?

Greetings, all wise ones! I'm an emerging PSG player converting from lap steel, and I'm gigging a lot with more shows on the way. My question is that I'm looking to start in on a full time PSG setup to replace my current rig's bottom neck 6 string Strat style single coil E9 neck, but I also want to ...

The Swamper Project

Howdy friends! First time poster but long time SGF reader. Your threads have been awesome and educational. I wanted to share a pic of my current gigging setup. It's an unconventional approach to the art but does maintain respect to the fundamentals. I call it the Swamper Project. (I originally calle...
