As a left-handed player, I had Jackson Steel make a Maverick HD with the three pedals on the right side; It is my first steel, and I really enjoy it.

I am a beginner, and last year Jackson Steel Guitars made me a left-handed Maverick HD, 3 pedals, 4 levers.
It works for me, and I really enjoy it.

It's so very sad. He was one of the nicest persons I ever met, an amazing musician, and a very funny guy. At a local jam, he could play guitar, psg, dobro, keyboard.
Stu introduced me to the pedal steel, and I had just started taking lessons with him last year. RIP, my friend.

Best of luck at the festival; hopefully, it will play in the New York area soon. Will it be available to purchase
either as a DVD or a download?

I have a Beard Josh Swift Standard dobro with a Fishman Nashville pickup and a Jackson Maverick HD E9 pedal steel. I have a Fishman Loudbox mini for the dobro and a Peavey Nashville 1000 (too heavy) for the psg. I'm looking for any recommendations for an amp that can do double duty. Thank you.

Having played my Beard dobros for several years, I took the leap to pedal steel. I just received my left-handed Jackson Maverick HD. It's intimidating, but I'm excited to learn this beautiful instrument.
