Bruce,

I have a Xotic EP booster that does what you're looking for. It thickens the sounds of my lap steel guitars.

Here you go Brooks, a similar guitar without the Lollar pickup. It says it has a pickup but does not have a description of it----- I imagine it's one of the Fishman Nashville. Also not the "Josh Swift" that Howard has.

With all the problems that websites and the internet have caused with providing wrong information for all of us I think it would have been fair to Mullen to contact them about the shipping price problem before making it public. With that said, Landon, I do understand your exasperation with the shipp...

Clamping to the table of a table saw is part of the rabbet hole. I think the money you spent on the Bow FP5 is well spent and will help relieve some of the stress of using your table saw. A table saw is the most versatile stationary power tool you can have in a wood shop and there is a vast amount o...

Landis @ Winfield?

Hi Ron,
Are you planning on having your booth @ The Walnut Valley festival this year? I noticed that your making pendants for the fest so I imagine you are but thought I'd ask anyway.

shop made featherboard

Jon, If you have scrap boards you can make your own. Here's a video that explains shop made feather boards simply built. Looks like they used a band saw to cut the fingers. If you don't have a band saw you can use your table saw. You can use the miter gauge with the table saw to cut the angle if you...

Jamie, I recently traded for a Goldtone PBS with the mahogany laminated wood. What a beautiful sounding instrument. I road tested several other resonators ( a Tut Taylor and a Witcher Sheerhorn and several lower valued imports) and the quality and sound of the PBS excelled above the others. I though...

What a great looking case. Cool application of wire pulls on both the case and guitar. A pocket for the tone bar and picks is a good idea. CNC'D?

When a player is unsure of their playing, sometimes there's a tendency start with a fast vibrato, probably unconsciously thinking if they play above and below the note 10 to 20 cents , the right note will be in there somewhere, all the while not paying attention to the frets getting smaller up the ...

Both spray adhesive and double sided tape will work, but I like the 3M spray adhesive method better. After cleaning both surfaces mask off the area that your going to spray on the guitar with blue masking tape and paper so you don't spray where you don't want it. Chris noted that you have to be prec...

Gold Tone PBS

Recently I traded for one of Gold Tone's Paul Beard signature resonator. The base mahogany version. It's a gorgeous sounding resonator, and very well made.
