I have an almost identical guitar. I play it on the road w Blake Shelton, 1984 Black Zum 9X6 D10 w 705s. It was my first guitar, and it's still my favorite. I'm very tempted to make an offer

Kyle, you're right, that's Kuro, he is a bit of a ham. I tried to photograph the guitar, but he kept wanting to fetch the ball.

BTW, you sounded great on the How Far West project, very cool stuff, great playing that session with you, amigo. Were you playing the ShoBud?

Emmons - 1979 black push pull (price reduced)

I have had this guitar for five years. I have played several live shows with Terri Clark with this guitar, but mostly, I have used it as a studio instrument. Currently, it has a George L E66 in the E9th, but I have the original, and will have it reinstalled upon your request. The C neck has the orig...

Does Bill Lawrence offer the 710 anymore, or is it called a 700 now?

He also has something called the LXR-16 Series... what's the difference?

I play with the opening act on tour with Reba, and it's great to hear such a great steel player with such a great band. The steel is plenty hot in the mix... great tone from the Carter.

Mike Headrick just sent me one in the mail. Thanks... I love it. I played for an hour yesterday, with no fingerpicks, and the glass bar... just to see what it sounded like. It's got less sustain, but a cooler tone, just like I thought it would. I especially like playing jazzier stuff with it, like o...

For Blues slide guitar, I like glass far and way better than steel. It makes a huge difference to me... much warmer and smoother. I've never tried glass on a pedal steel, but it's intriguing. I don't think it would be better for country steel, but maybe for other stuff, with some breakup... nowhatim...

Glass Bar

I'm wanting to find a glass bar for pedal steel. Optimally, a ten string 1 inch diameter, from pyrex. Really, I would try anything, though.

Thanks...
