I'm a relative beginner in c6...I have a Morley VP Which has a min/ max control for volume. I like the idea of min volume for background rythm ...but find it almost as hard to utilize as learning palm blocking and other clarity accents...would you recommend a newbie leave it in the box awhile....or ...

I recently purchased a used ( no name ) 6 string console. The tone control does not work and I would like to change the pickup and both pots. Looking for suggestions for a single coil pickup with compatible tone and volume pot replacements. I play C6 tuning and prefer a heavier gauge string set

I use a dark bed sheet cloth cut cover for my single console......but I do have animals and I don't play it everyday....but the cloth keeps the dust and pet hair off the machine ....its light...and takes up no space when its removed...and it does the job for me.
