Stacked humbucker

I have a custom made c6 tuned six string console with a strat pickup.....it has a bit more noise than my gold tone lapsteel....and was wondering if anyone had any experience with a stacked humbucker ( samore duncon) on their single slot laps...

It has a brass nut and bridge, and is pretty bright but its hard to tell without the tone adjustment. I'd like to keep it around 100.00 dollars. I'll try and get a pic to attach ( new member ) thanks [/img]

Replacing pickup and vol and tone pots

I recently purchased a used ( no name ) 6 string console. The tone control does not work and I would like to change the pickup and both pots. Looking for suggestions for a single coil pickup with compatible tone and volume pot replacements. I play C6 tuning and prefer a heavier gauge string set

I use a dark bed sheet cloth cut cover for my single console......but I do have animals and I don't play it everyday....but the cloth keeps the dust and pet hair off the machine ....its light...and takes up no space when its removed...and it does the job for me. I'm sure a local upholstery pr altera...
