Sorry about the delay but the MinneSteelGuitar Event was a great time. The best part was that many people who came had never seen a steel guitar but only heard the sound of it. Also several young musicians attended thus bringing the pedal steel to the next generation. A big shout out to Brian Peters...

Bump. People are calling and getting excited. Should be a full house. I will broadcast the introduction live on Facebook at 1:00 pm (CST).

On Saturday, September 16, at 1:00 pm (Central time) we will be live on Facebook for the introduction only of our MinneSteel Guitar Event. This Event is taking place in Monticello , Minnesota.

Sherwin Linton will be doing a song dedicated to the steel guitar. This event has gotten good response. Hope to see many new faces there.

MN Steel Guitar Facebook is hosting this Event in Monticello, Minnesota on Saturday April 1rst. It is a small venue so seating is limited. Reservations are highly recommended. It is cash at door only Event.

Unfortunately I have not been able to contact Cal Hand. I don’t have any info on him. I would love to have him there as he was so instrumental in those early years in the area for pedal steel. Also I did briefly talk to Clem however he did not appear to desire to much anymore with the steel guitar. ...
