That gives you a seventh with the 4th raised, but doesn't do much (useful) with the third string lowered.

Is there a preference for high third (C# / E) or high fifth (E / G) tuning when playing a 6 string dobro or lap steel, tuned to A6 / C6? I like to the sound with the third on top, but most string sets seem to have the fifth on top. Second question - anyone tried a hipshot bridge on a dobro to switch...

I recently purchased a Sho-Bud permanent on the forum and when it arrived, the fretboard seems to have come unglued.

Any one had this happen? Any suggestions for re-attaching? Thanks
