The pic is correct as Fender had made them. Interesting choice, might have to do with it seems a little easier to do swells with the volume where it is located then if it was on the outside like the tone. Not sure if that was Fender's intent just something I noticed at least that's how it felt to me.

Just curiuos are the volume and tone placement switched around ? When you flip the plate to install isn't the volume on the side closer to the player (inside) and the tone on the outside? That looks like the volume is outside and the tone inside.Just checking I don't know myself.

Does anyone have an idea of the size of the mounting screws for a bridge plate . I'm looking at #5 x 1" but want to make sure before I order something.

Would anyone know if the tuning trays for a 60's Stringmaster is the same size for a 6 string as they are for an 8? Also if purchasing the Kluson reissue is there a 6 string one. I see the 8 but not a 6.
