I have a Fender Stringmaster D8 ... used to be a quad, discover upon research. But all parts are Origional except the logo ...

Looks great, sounds great.

Anybody know what tuning Billy used? Interested in working up Crazy Man Crazy

Will their Stringmaster pickup have the correct string spacing for my ‘53 Stringmaster rebuild?

Will the Lollar Stringmaster pickups string spacing be compatible with my 53 Stringmaster project?

Will these fit the string spacing required to be compatible with my ‘53 Stringmaster rebuild?

I was just confused. I knew I took off the Origional finish and then saw that. Lol

I was talking about the reddish stain.

This was a Blonde ... stripped it down and this reddish stain is in two places ....

Stripped the Blonde finish off ( had to heavily scarred) found this ... what the heck ... see 2nd pic

This forumn has some of the nicest folks in the world. I once interviewed Les Paul, he stated Guitar players all consider ourselves to be part of the same team. Always looking out for one another. He was right!

I have to of these left over. I assembled a T8 Custom Professional. Someone sent me these but they are 6 String.

$50 each.

Both in great condition. I’ll post photos if you like.

I have the tinted Lacquer in house. I will order the Fender Blonde.

BTW, got really lucky today and located a correct Tuner Pan with The Lollipop tuners.

Now continuing the search for the bridge, nut and pickup covers. LOL

This is going to be a fun project ... especially since I can actually play a couple of tunes now. Both the Fender Custom Professional T8 and The Fender Stringmaster D8 ( Soon to be T8) I have sound great ... different but both real nice. I have to admit the long s al is a bit easier for me to play r...

What size would they be?
Is there anything commercially available today?

Was the color of the 53 Fender Stringmaster Butterscotch Blonde or Blonde. I’m doing a restore on one of the Three necks. I have a D8 in original condition that was originally a Quad. I have located the original 4th neck and want to reattach it making it a T8.
