Tennessee Waltz

Gorgeous song and your arrangement makes it alive for sure! Your comment about the “declining” popularity of the pedal steel, William, is SAD 😞, but unfortunately true. PS is not for the faint of heart or for someone who does NOT like to spend the hours of required practicing. I think the big...

Yellow Ribbon

Great Song! William has provided to me, and I bet for others, the CONFIDENCE needed to be able to play this instrument without going completely insane while trying to learn on it. I’m “confident” that all of us can learn to play Tie A Yellow Ribbon—-I’m also confident that there is absolut...

ALL of these old sacred and spiritual hymns are beautiful and are brought to life with William sitting behind the pedal Steel-this one especially! I firmly believe that William’s name would have appeared somewhere in the book of Psalms if he and the steel had been around back then.

Really encourage all pedal steel players (at any playing level) to take advantage of William’s weekly...

Beautiful as usual. William gets the very best and the most beautiful sound out of each and every string he touches. Just amazing. In part, his skill set for sure but also in how he arranges the songs. That’s a gift! William prevented me from making a huge mistake. Purchased an old BMI pedal steel...

Wow! That’s another beauty. It just keeps getting better and better. I did NOT say easier and easier—just better better. Actually these Technique Exercises are a tremendous help in learning new material. These TE’s eventually show up one way or another in William’s song lessons.

Now, to seal the deal that will give you a lifetime of pleasure and the sense of accomplishment and self-confidence, take the time to look at William's website. L...

Loving these CORD Technique Exercises this week! This PS is like a huge puzzle. Every piece of what we learn in these weekly lessons will show up in something we play, sooner or later. There is absolutely NO way I could ever get close to learning this thing without William's lessons! Liking it man, ...

YEAH! Cord Study--This is going to be Great Stuff!
Hopefully, I won't get embarrassed anymore. Few of the guys I play with ask me, "hey Gary! What cord you in?" I generally say, "beats me-I have no idea." Thanks William!

Oh Yeah! The one and only George Jones! Arrangement beautifully done. Every single song of yours, William, has at least one or more of the "steel technique" lessons in them.
I see how vital it is to learn these techniques.

Move that one high up on your list, William. Reminds me of my honkytaunk drinking days.
Although I'm a recovering alcoholic, I still want to learn this beauty. Played well by ya, William!

Last Saturday's workshop was pretty special I thought. A touch of pedal steel Christmas music shared with us by William. I'm so glad he did the Christmas songs--I was hesitant in asking William to do this because I know the holidays are often times hard for folks to deal with. A lot of us just try t...
