I am so glad this came up - I just started with PSG, but I only picked up my non-pedal steel after watching this show when it came to Sydney.
So Jon kinda push me over the edge. I think I'll have to transcribe everything off this now...

Not a country player, but David Lindley, Jackson Brown's slide player plays fiddle. I also recall from an interview I read that he said it was the hardest instrument he ever learned...And he's played most of them :whoa: Raises an interesting question though, what are the most useful extra instrument...

Any Sydney based Teachers?
Hey all, long time reader that finally joined. I've picked up my old non-pedal D8, and am committed to learning it properly this time - I'm hoping to track down a local teacher to get me on track. I'm currently just working on one neck tuned to C6, and I eventually plan to learn PSG too (right after...
