I appreciate that I'm not the only one having difficulty with the USPS. I've had a package sit for 10 days at a center within driving distance. Yesterday I wrote USPS and received a standard reply stating there are delays due to COVID. After my inquiry it started moving today. Not sure if it helped ...

1938 Oahu Tonemaster long scale (sold)
For sale is a 1938 (dated by pot) Oahu Tonemaster. I picked it up to work on lap steel but never got around to it. It’s a long scale steel in pretty decent condition as can been seen in the photos. I cleaned and lubed the tuners and put a fresh set of C6 strings on it. The case has seen better day...

I'll give my limited experience. I had an MSA Legend that was a couple of years old and currently play a Zum Stage One. The MSA: 1. An adjustable copedant with a considerable amount of options given the number of raise and lower holes. 2. Split tuning available on every string. 3. Stainless steel an...

If you’re looking at MSA, I’ve been thinking the same thing. There pricing makes me scratch my head and wonder. You could do a D13 with that set up if you’ve not looked into it yet. I’ve thought of some odd balls with stringing it 2-11 standard E9. It would be nice to see the end of a fret b...

Paddy, My steel has the inside pickup on a rail system and it works great. And for Marty, It slides both ways. It was done because my father and I were not sure which angle direction we would want all the time..So he made the rail so the player could vary the angle direction. chose. Paul Paul, Coul...

I'm on the younger side and consider this also, especially with guitars as I consider a new steel purchase. When you look at all the brands that have came and went and how hard it can be to find parts for some steels, it blows my mind how some can fetch the prices they do on the forum. Maybe it's no...
