Thanks for the tip, I actually realized the strings were just too old and the problem went away when I put new strings on it. I have been working out of the Dewitt Scott book and online tabs and learning so much. I'm addicted for sure now

Blanton s10 underside

So here's the underside as requested, you might be able to see my brazed up new rod for one of the knee levers. 3rd string broke so there's no tension on one of the fingers http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix1504/16592_IMG_0116_1.jpg http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix1504/16592_IMG_0117_1.jpg

Steelers in Kansas City

Hey I searched and got an older post, is there anyone I can get lessons or maybe just Show me some basic stuff on my new PSG while I'm in Kansas City. I have to travel there for three months but I'm taking my lap and pedal guitars with me. Thanks! **accidently posted in Jobs page reposted here**

I will be happy to when I go back by the house...in fact I'm having some difficulty trying to get my c pedal to raise a whole step on the 4th string. I've got the tuner maxed out and it seems like it just won't raise all the way. I'll be re stringing tonight anyway so maybe I'll do a series for the ...

New player with my first PSG! (Blanton s10)

Hi all! I'm just excited and I want to share it with y'all.. With some help from my uncle I located this lovely Blanton s10/3x4. Someone might have said it was from '68 and hasn't really been played in a long while but it sounds great to me. I had about 15 hrs to learn what a Blanton was (I was gett...

Any group input on how well this would suit me as a novice? Been learning on lap steel for a year and wanting to go ahead with PSG. Thanks

Terribly novice player myself but In c6 I know I can slant it across from the root on the 6th(low) string 2 or 3 frets up on the 3rd string. It sounds right with 3 notes on 6/5/3 with a vibrato. There's a bunch of other inversions too..been working with the roadmaps book. Shows a lot of this stuff
