I am sure there have been many guitars damaged by hard cases, I have seen a few, some by cases we built. This is why things have changed a little in my designs vs my dads. It is just my belief that a hard case with padding is the way to go.

I have never said, or heard there had been damage caused by a fiber case, only by improperly constructed or broken hard cases.

That is why I like foam padding inside a hard case.
