Zum Stage One

Stage One pedal steel in excellent condition. Three pedals, four knees, E9 set-up. Comes in its original case. Includes a road-worn but functional Goodrich volume pedal and a tone bar. See photos. I tried to master it and failed miserably, due in no fault to the instrument. I will stick to dobro and...

'54 Fender Dual 8 Pro Blonde

Hi, I have a '54 Fender double neck 8 with original trapezoidal pickups that I am thinking of selling, but I would need to get $700 for it, plus shipping. It is ready to play. It is missing the original legs and case. I know it is more than your friend wants to spend, but thought I would throw it ou...

Join the club, Paul. I recently bought a '54 Dual 8 Pro that lost its legs and case somewhere along the way. Currently, I have it set up on an electric piano stand, which does the trick, an I am carrying it around in an electric piano gig bag (62-key). They are no substitute for the real deal tweed ...

I found a cosmetically challenged '86 OMI Dobro for around the same price as a new import.

It is not as deep as the Gold Tone, but I love the authentic tone.

Just two weeks ago, I bought my first pedal steel (Stage One), in part because I have always loved the tone, but also because a left hand injury has made guitar-playing painful. I am also playing dobro and lap steel for the same reasons. Now I have a bunch of six-string acoustics that sit in their c...

New to the Forum

So...here's one singer-songwriter's view of pedal steel. I have been writing songs on dobro for about 6 months, and realized the potential of using a tone bar in song-writing. I bought a '54 Fender Dual 8 Pro last month, and was officially bitten by the bug. I then found a Stage One listed on my loc...

'54 Fender Dual 8 Pro Console Legs and Case?

I purchased a '54 Fender Dual 8 a few weeks ago. Good news is that everything on it is working, including all 16 tuners!

Bad news is that it is missing the original case and legs.Anyone got a spare set of legs or a case for it?

I am learning as well, and in the interest of domestic harmony, I am using a Vox headphone amp plugged into the output on the volume pedal.

Fender actually bought Guild in 1995, but there are many Guild devotees that swear that quality actually improved at the Westerly, RI facility after the acquisition.
