My first Dead show was March of 72, and he played steel on Looks like Rain, and of course I thought he would have it at every show hahaha. BTW, a lot of the NRPS stuff on the internet is painfully out of tune. The most listenable set I have heard was a bootleg from a 10/30/71 radio show called Glend...

I put Certanos on an SX, and ended up putting on a Certano roller bridge as well. It made the benders easier to use and the sound was more consistent across the strings. You might want to check out Troy Brenningmeyer on YouTube as well as his site, very helpful. Good luck!

Years ago, I went with a friend to see Bill play banjo with his bluegrass band at the Eagle Tavern on 14th Street in New York. Turns out that there was no sound system that night, but Bill played his set anyway. We sat right in front of him, and his tone and playing were beautiful and amazingly cons...

Whitey Morgan playing in NYC on April 5th

If any of you want to hear country music the way it should be played, check these guys out. Rare indeed to find a band of this caliber in these parts, so I appreciate their coming east. The band includes forumite Brett Robinson, a great player who comes across as a really good guy.

The end plates say "Discovery". Mike and his team are a pleasure to deal with, do not see how you can go wrong.

Guitar Pro 7.5 now supports 10 strings

Just a heads up that Guitar Pro 7.5 now supports 10 strings. It does not feel like it is ready for prime time for PSG, but thought the forum should know.

Thanks

John -

A lovely rendition of a song that, thanks to my daughters, I have heard 2,000 times.

I will send a PM, it is great to see you online. Thanks, and all the best.

Take a look at Transcribe! as well. It slows down video and audio, and has looping, pitch, etc.

Thanks for the quick response John! Having the video is extremely valuable, and your tabs are very clear and easy to follow.

Plus playing the songs that I have loved for years moves the practice meter a whole lot closer to "fun" than "work".

Thanks again and all the best!
