I have a custom D-8 with the name 'Fretson' on it. Sounds sweet through my '53 Fender Deluxe.

hofner 6-string lap
I've got a yellow mother-of-plastic Hofner 6-string. the pickup is particularly quiet-anyone know if this is normal or is it knackered? also any info on history or age would be appreciated
