I love my Paloma Stone grooved slide. He appears to be out of business. If anyone has a 3-1/2" one that they don't use and want to sell, let me know.

2 mini microphones taped together reducing feedback

It's an old vocalist feedback suppressing trick to tape 2 SM57 or any microphones together to cancel out feedback. The concept may work inside a resonator using mini mics.

10 string is the way to go

i've had 6 string laps around on and off for 40 years or more and would rarely use them. It wasn't until i bought my first 10 string Eharp that i got addicted to playing it. It took a few years until I found my own tuning and then it seemed to be much easier to play than 6 string lap. I wanted a ver...

Picks, I don't need no stinking picks!

Playing guitar for 56 years and I never liked using finger or thumb picks. So i started my 10 string Eharp lap steel journey a few years ago with no picks. It really does work just fine. I had settled on using John Bechtel's E9/13 10 string non-pedal tuning due to his recommendation for its versatility if i had only one neck. One day i tuned the middle G# up to an A and was kind of shocked at how much better it is. There are E-maj, A-maj, A-maj7, F#-min, D-maj and more chords on one...

Music is everything to me. I need to gig/jam at least once a week to keep my head in a good place. Through 50 years of bands the most important part of my musical enjoyment and growth has always been about close friendships with musicians that i've played with. There's nothing better than a strong m...

Any vintage D10 consoles?

One member here mentioned a one off Remington T10 so I would think there should be some vintage D10 non-pedal consoles out there. What have you seen/played/owned/heard about?

I've played elec guitar for 50 years but only a few months on 10 string console (Eharp & Holiday). Besides wanting to play big chords and some classic Don Helms & western swing,,,,I really want to be able to Solo any and all licks my blues/rock/fusion/jazz guitar brain comes up with. Ex: eve...
