Great job Bryce. I remember trying to get a book of intros and turns that I could use to get some band's attention.
You'll love hearing how great you sound with a band to support you. Keep at it.

Elizabethtown Steelers?
I ran into a lead guitar player in Elizabethtown, KY who is looking for a Steeler to play country and gospel. I live too far away to help him. if you are within driving distance you can contact him james.sipes@att.net.

Our band did my initial run through in C then the singer did it in F. I always bridged with a C7 or Gm7 but they never seemed right to my ear. any thoughts?

Donnie Hinson,
They are lowered 1/2 tone. I played an Emmons for 25 years with the G# lowered as well as the D. This guitar has neither. I'm wondering about stealing the parts from the Bs (that I don't use and lowering the 6 and 9,

That makes sense. I played an Emmons for 25 years. I really love the tone I'm getting on this guitar. I want to get rid of the lowered Bs and get the 9th lowered and also the 6. I think I'll be able to steal parts from the Bs to use for the other two, (although I've never done this kind of change).

I just brought home a Rus-ler D10. The Es are lowered with the RL lever. Is that the way all of them are made?

I have a Hudson SD10. I think they are pull/release but I don't know what that means. Does it affect travel and throw? I'm having trouble with too much of one or the other.

Ricky, I know this is 6 years later but I didn't know you had Instructional material available. I've been stealing your Ricky and Rebel stuff for years but I'd be interested in seeing what you have.

specialty bar
I recently had surgery my thumb. I can't keep the bar secure any longer while I'm playing. Does anyone make a bar that attaches to the finger? The slow stuff is not too bad but I drop the bar when I make big changes.

Pedal Steel for an amputee
My brother has had both legs amputated just above the knees. He would like to see if there is a way to put the pedal changes on the KLs.
I've played steel for years but I'm sure not mechanical enough to figure this one out.
Any help would would be appreciated

I think I learned that from Buddy's Intro's and Turnarounds lessons. Someone elses memory may be better than mine.

I can meet you at John A's at whatever time works for you. I tried to call at 6:00 but didn't get you. My number is 352-362-0899. If you don't need to be in Nashville I sure don't care to drive to Shelbyville. Heck you might knock a little off the price out of gratitude for my kindness

I'm just a couple hours from Nashville so that will work. Is there a good place to pull over around there?
You can text me if you like. It'll move things along a little quicker.
