So I ordered a new Encore from Doug Ernest and well I was wondering whether to get the single coil pick up or the humbucker. And suggestions?

So I've seen a lot of diagrams and pictures of how to set up a lower on a pull release steel, but I can't seem to wrap my mind around it. Is there a video out there that explains it? Is there someone out there that can dumb it down for me? Or even email me very detailed pictures or make a short vide...

Thanks Edward! I don't know the history of this guitar and I am dying to know, even though it may now be an authentic marlen, it does sound great. I do believe that the changer is marlen.
