Mark right off I see C major, Dmi, Emi, and the B and F tritone gives you a G7.
Way isn’t this used more?

Very interesting that as per these late 30’s Gibson and National catalogs, the C6 is not even on the map yet. It is mostly variations on A and E. There is one Cmajor tuning mentioned by Gibson. I thought C6 would have been the standard for all the lap steel tunings. Seems it was a later invention. J...

Has anyone been using the Iridium as a DI input to the house PA or acoustic guitar style monitor amps? Or to FRFR speakers?

Also interested in the Walrus Audio ASC1. This is another of these type of amp/speaker/mic emulation units.

I had a friend's Franklin here for a week, and had them side by side to compare. Very very similar in sound and quality.

Weber 10F150T in 25 or 50 watt. Good American sound.
Tone Tubby Alnico Red Hemptone. Very dimensional, loud, and competes with 12" speakers.

I have a Loudbox Mini, 60 watts, 21 lbs. I have played steel through it on occasion, sounds acceptable to me. After a while I miss the sweetness of tubes, which I prefer.

Excel makes single coils for their steels.
I think the major pickup companies make steel pickups. You could inquire with Lollar, Duncan, Frailin.
