Hi all, I didn't like the sound of the original pickup/ tone control setup, that's why I was in the hunt to improve it. thanks for the technical tips but they are a bit beyond my limit :)

Thanks Nic, the standard Sx pickups tone control goes from too sharp to too dull with the smallest of adjustment played via an AER 60 which I also use for the GFI, Expo PSG and is fine. I guess what I'm trying to get is a more mellow tone with the ability to adjust it in and out.

Lap steel pickups

Hi team, looking for some guidance in replacing the pickups on my old lap steel please? It’s only a cheap one so the pickup / volume & tone setup is average.
I like good tone with a bit of grunt, any ideas on a good sounding alternative would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,

Hi team , as a relative new kid to e9 psg I’m struggling to understand where strings 1 and 2 with the levers fit into the scheme of things, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Love it, btw, hows the black box? I see there are other goodies too , wondering if the black box by itself is enough?

Hey John, could I also share your tabs for silver wings, I’m a new by too and love this tune. I’m also on the lookout for tabs on Chloe, the Gabby / Ry Cooder tune from chicken skin music. They also do a fab version of Hank Snows Yellow Roses. I’m on

Chloe tabs

Hi team, just wondering if anybody can give me some tips on playing Gabby Pahinui’s Chloe? I’m relatively new at this E9 thing so even some tabs would be helpful.
