Loren,
I am brand new to PSG. I just got word that my stage One will be shipped on Friday so I need a bar. If you think any of the bars you have left will suit a beginner, I'll take one. Let me know, Thanks. Mike

Hi Mike, Another newbie here. Like I am about 3 weeks ahead of you. There is tons of info on the forum, and the members are very helpful. I will tell you to be careful buying your first PSG. I made the mistake of not knowing what I wanted/needed and ended up buying not 1 but 2 used guitars from a lo...

I finally got tired of trying to set up the used "Emmons" that I bought. I is difficult to get it to stay in tune, and the pedal/knee lever set up isn't correct. After reading a lot of posts on this forum I called Doug from Stage One who was incredibly helpful and ordered a new guitar from...

OK, I am a rank beginner here. I am open to your suggestions and expertise. I went to the site but am a little confused. Should I start with the "up from the top" series? or start with the first video course on fundamentals? Thanks, Mike

OK, here are some pics of the under carriage of Emmonstein" I did a web search and saw some Emmons student models that look similar. The body has a dark wood. I was suspicious about the fret board as none of the Emmons I saw has the same type as my guitar. Thanks again. Mike http://bb.steelguit...

I just got back from House of Guitars in Rochester yesterday and they swapped me for an Emmons. (or what I believe is an Emmons) I learned from my 1st experience that I don't know beans about these things. 3 Pedals and 1 lever. Anyway, I am going to restring it and tune it this week. I figure I can ...

As I started to clean it up, I have found some of the rods are bent, and some parts are missing. I talked to the owner or the shop and he is willing to take it back and swap me for an intact Emmons 10 string that is already set up. I am going to look at it this week. I don't want to have to find som...

newbie here.

Greetings Everyone. I have been skulking around the forums for a week or so trying to find some basic information. Here is my situation. I had a Maverick back in the late 70's that I played (I was a rank amateur). I haven't touched a pedal steel since then but have always wanted to really learn. The...
