Jean, this might be too late for a response but Ive been living in the Miami-Ft Lauderdale area for over 27 years. Forget Miami, there's no country music to speak of. Most clubs are gone except for one down in Homestead which might even have been closed down. The bands that are here, are mostly sout...

Found the foam. Home Deport has these foam filters used in wet/dry shop vacuum canisters. The product is called, MULTIFIT Replacement filters. #VF2001. Cost is, $5.97. You find them where all the Rigid wet/dry vacuums are located. I tired one of these filters and they worked, in fact they are thin t...

Foam Used Between Undercarriage Rods.

Where can you buy the foam that is inserted between the rods and cross shafts that muffle the rattling of these rods? I tried, Home Depot, Lowes, Wal-mart, Hobby stores, Art supplies stores, Bath & Beyond, Michael's etc., no foam pads or products at all. This foam is used in packing, like expens...

Bill, yes I have 2 cards loaded with Jeff's settings. I'll reload one of the cards to see what happens.

But its strange, every setting has reverb that's very noticeable and annoying.

Thanks Ken

Ken from the Ft Lauderdale area, here where I've been live for the last 27 years, country music is over, gone, DOA. There's one or two so called "Country" bands that play mostly country/southern rock, no steel or fiddles needed. Blue Grass is dying also. Back in 1994 there were about 10 st...

Profexx Problems - Reverb

My Profexx II when used with my Peavey DPC 1000 or my Mackie 1400i Power Amp, all of Jeff Newman's setting have a high volume of Reverb when played through my MSA D10 Legend. (I'm using twin Peavey 112 speakers). I also own a Peavey Transtubefex, and when I play this effects unit through the DPC 100...

Wish I could be in attendance, I'm missing the big one, but the cost factor for me just too much, I'm retired and live on a fix budget. I added up the cost for an entire 3 day stay, it was well over $1,300-1,500. Air, Hotels, Transportation, Meals, the admission fee and a Nashville T-Shirt. Back 30 ...

Why so much? I had my ears tested at one of those FREE HEAR TESTING stores in Hollywood, Florida a few years ago. The exam was high tech, good results too, no need for a hearing aid that cost $3000+. My opinion is the cost, the test is free so if 30 people show up to get tested in per day and 27 wal...

Dale, you C6th demo on the E9th was very interesting and rewarding, in fact it's simple progression run, easy to follow and would be a good learning example for the early learners of the pedal steel. Hope you do more of the C6th demos.

Steve your on target, I'm going to try it with my electric solid body, made in China guitar, see how it performs with an a non steel guitar.

Anyone out did this experiments? what was the results and yes, a steel is not a solid body electric guitar but it doesn't pay to try.

This is the first white steel I've seen that looks totally gorgeous, my choices have always been black and red, never brown.

Good price, MSA has a long waiting list for their steel these days.

I know mine took over a year.
