They are in Nashville.
Best of luck.

The back of the Lp informs us Jerry used his Rickenbacker 7 stringer with his diatonic tuning for this recording.

Hello Casey Lowmiller,

A few more photos, maybe back and sides(?), will help you sell this steel. I really like the tone and string spacing of this model. Good luck.

Hello Len,...and welcome to the forum! I would keep my eye on eBay. It may be quite a waiting game, and not inexpensive. In the mean time you may be able to substitute the missing tuner with a tuner from approx. the same time frame. I'd look for 1930's. Grover tuners, or perhaps old Waverly tuners f...

I have the same cut of "Au Hea Oe" on my copy of "Haunani, the Voice of Hawaii". DL74561. Barney backs her on all the cuts.
Maybe the Nui Nui Six is some kind of packaging of Decca Hawaiian artists taken from previously recorded work?

On one of Jerry's youtube performance videos. he talks about doing the album with Don. Don initially was bit reluctant...questioning the choice of "old" tunes that he feared nobody would want to hear. Jerry apparently convinced him otherwise. I wouldn't be surprised if Jerry is on the whol...

Hello Gary,

Jerry backed Don Ho on a recording called Do Ho...30 Hawaiian favorites. The recording includes Tiny Bubbles. How could it not?
I don't own that record. There are a good number of them on eBay.

Hope this helps.

Yes Andy, you'll need to take the pickup apart. To do the job the way I did it, you'll need: Basic soldering skills. Solder gun - I use a Weller WP25. Rosin core solder. Solder-wick. Small solder lug. Electrical tape. WD40 - maybe. Wire clippers. Cereal box. Facial tissue to dry your eyes when you s...

When you press on the top of the pickup, you are stabilizing the bobbin. Maybe it has shrunk a little, or maybe that's how it was made. I fixed the same problem by placing a piece of thin cardboard, cut from a cereal box, on the inside of the top half of the pickup housing. With the pickup back toge...

The first tuners had a shorter nut. They also had a wider tuner shaft stabilizing block in the center of the pan....not sure what it might have been called. Some forum member also mentioned the early roman numeral fret boards were a little different as well. Were they shorter, or were the fret marke...
