I rarely post here anymore, but Bruce impressed me with a conversation on a piece he played, "Old Rugged Cross" with a light and airy presentation that still hit home. We had talked about getting it tabbed but things happened and we didn't talk much afterwards. Thank you Bruce and rest in ...

Lowering G#'s for Minor Chords....

This was being discussed on another thread concerning the C pedal, and I've lost where it was. My question for consideration is if I dropped my C pedal for using the G# lowers for minors, other than having to learn (muscle memory) to do that, what else am I losing? I've looked at a number of differe...

I have to add my praise of Erv here as well. I have a good collection of his Gospel tabs and a few country tunes as well. They are complete in themselves but also lend to your own improvisation as well. Thank you ever so much Erv, you are an institution in yourself!

Another great tab from John! The way it is laid out is great, but I can see where I can add some stuff in as well. John's previous tabs have opened my eyes to new things.

Thank you John for all that you do for the PSG world, deeply appreciated.

Splits on the E9th tuning...

...I think I have the most common ones, which are the C split using the A pedal and VKL Bb KL. Also the 6 string G split using the B pedal and the F# lowering knee. Just wondering if there were more splits that people have found useful for their everyday playing? Thanks in advance for all ideas/sugg...

Well, that's me, a day late and a dollar short. I had been considering a 'scope to help me fine tune by ear (assuming I could figure a way to view the beats on the 'scope). Just my mind doing some technical wandering.

Not sure why we keep having this conversation. If you do not like the way the D'Addario strings are packaged, do not buy them, just that simple. I keep seeing people complaining about the way they are packaged, but that is the way it is, and I doubt they are going to change any time soon. Just makes...

Malwarebytes not worth the trouble (IMHO)....

Well Wiz, I know you like these folks but after 5 years I am going to call it quits. I executed my annual "housecleaning" (wiping my drives and reinstalling only necessary applications). Everything goes off without a hitch, until I get to reinstalling Malwarebytes. I have executed this &qu...

My apologies to John, as I am a little late in thanking him for the tab. I have been in the midst of a "recycling" series of colds and viruses that have sometimes required long times of waiting in the hospital ER. I have not touched my steel in a week. But I want to thank John for his long...

OK, I have figured out what happened. When they installed the system, they had a box in front of mine, which I thought was a switch and never gave it a second look. Upon closer inspection, it was actually an mini-router, so my thoughts are that GRC saw that router and not mine. I plugged the input l...

Looking for name of song and singer (or group).....

Not sure if this is where this would go, so moderator can move if needed. This may tax a few memories but here goes. Back a number of years ago, I remember a song where the chorus went like this: "Her hair is the color of the Arkansas sun, Her skins been tanned by the Arkansas wind, Her eyes ar...

A few questions if I may: 1. I am assuming the knobs at the front of the guitar are for tuning pedals, knees, splits? 2. Are you presenting this as the prototype for a full production guitar at a later date? 3. Could you provide a few shots of the underside? 4. If you are planning production, any gu...

Wiz, it is connected to my router but that doesn't seem to do anything at all, other than the wireless part. Do I need a different kind of router than the one I had connected to the modem? Just weird now that I seem to fail the GRC test program by changing providers and ditching the modem.

Computer Protection Issues - Wiz? HELP

Ok, to start off with, I had a normal computer internet setup, modem, wifi router, computer. I use GRC.com on a monthly basis to check my port setting and make sure they are all "stealth mode". Now, I move to a new "fiber" service with my internet, and all of a sudden all my port...

Anyone ever tried to use an oscilloscope to see the "beats" between two notes? I think it possible to be done, just have not figured out the details yet.
