Two of my favorite singer songwriter/ steel albums! BTW i can replicate that tone with reverb and delay either through Quilter Steelaire or my Schroeder tube amp.

Would someone post a list or link of Ed’s recordings or any videos he may be on. I used to have an album he did that was kind of “surfy” but i cant find it -CD-tape-lp i just don’t remember. Thanks

Hi Jack, Chuck did recover from last summer and was even working on restoring a new steel when I visited him this fall. Apparently this resulted from another problem. They sent him back to the hospital over the weekend. I was going to visit him today when I heard the news.

I loved hanging with Chuck and listening to his stories, picking up playing tips and watching him rebuilding his latest guitar. I’ll miss him.

I read a Facebook post from John Jorgensen that he had edited a performance that was airing on Serious tomorrow but I don’t know if it is Friday nights opening show or the Sunday Desert Rose Band show.

Mine arrived in the mail last week. I thought that was early. I got the expensive one- not the paperback. It’s kind of like fiberboard with the “blade” picture on the cover. Not what I was expecting, but nice and durable.
