I ordered a pair of 710s from them back in April. I got them in about three weeks (according to them standard wait time is 2-3 weeks). As of July 10, their "How to Order" page states that there are some backorders present, so I'm not sure when expected shipping dates would be. I'm a big fa...

I briefly used a Dunlop volume pedal when I started playing steel, not knowing the difference between it versus volume pedals meant for steel. I picked up an L120 and found it much smoother and softer (not to mention kept my knees from hitting the bottom of the guitar). Having the axel further back ...

Online specs for the standard blue marvel show it weighs 7lbs, yes, but the blue marvel designed for the Nashville 112 has a much larger magnet. I'd be willing to believe a neodymium would shave off 6lbs or so.

One of my favorite solos, Mike is always great at getting the most out of each note he plays. Here's what I have for the first bit, walkdown included. Sorry for the slight blurriness.

I love this video by Scotty Henderson https://youtu.be/WKJQq0ZLCRs

And the middle section of this video has Bobbe Seymour doing some thumb picking on the back neck https://youtu.be/H6RE7PjUrjI

I have TrueTones in my D10 Ultra and I think they sound great (especially on C6). I use a pot pedal with no buffers. I don't find them too bright at all. Interestingly enough, if I were to switch to humbuckers the 710s would be my choice. I don't have any experience with them but I think I would lik...

I'm pretty new at C6th playing, and I started with a D note on top. Recently changed to a G and noticed you can raise string 4 with P4 or P7 from A-B and hit that high G to get that classic bend we're all familiar with.
