I bought a new x-over in the middle to late 60's. 6 pedals and 1 knee and white fretboards.

You must not have any hearing loss or tinnitus in both ears.

I have both Herbys and Buddys C6th courses and you can't go wrong with either one........

I'm with Baz on this one. In 1954 I took a 6 string guitar course from the U.S. School of Music. Never did they call it a chime, always a harmonic and that's what I've always called them since.

Last week I happened to tune in the show and Gary was loud and clear, so I checked in again this week and same thing. Loud and clear. Never did a thing to my tv or receiver so that tells me the problem was not on my end. Anyway now I can watch the show which is great!

While I still play my MSA a lot, the Emmons is now my main guitar.

I've been unable to hear him from day one. What I can't understand is why it's always the steel and never one of the other guys. Is he routed to some other place in the studio? I don't know what the answer is..........

For $50 I'd latch onto that baby in a hurry. I started out on a Supro some 50+ years ago. Don't remember much about it tho'.

Looks like a waste of time and resources to me.

I use an Emmons bar, 3 1/4 by 7/8ths. Probably nearing 40 years old.

I saw the show a few years ago. Talked to him a few minutes. Super picker and super nice guy. Did he play Bud's Bounce?

Two guys with tons of class!

I'm hearing it here probably 3 or 4 times a day. I was like Mr. Fish the first time I heard it. Half asleep and thought I was dreaming.

I'm on Dish and have had problems hearing him from day one. Sometimes he's completely un-hearable and other times just barely. All the rest of the musicians are loud and clear at all times. I've almost quit watching the show on this account.

I've always referred to a 'job'. Never liked the term 'gig'. A gig to me is what we go down to the river and gig fish, or frogs with.

Bill, your female singer reminded me of a run-in I had with one several years ago. Our band was opening for someone, can't remember who at a county fair. We decided to have a rehearsal because a local gal wanted to sing. Night of that she appeared all decked out in her cowgirl outfit and an hour lat...

First time I'd heard that one. Just another example of the touch this master had.

I started with 'Day', used that for 7-8 years then switched to Emmons. Don't recall it taking a lot of time to get used to, maybe a week at most.

I always thought they were called 'suspicious' or 'suspected chords', not to be confused with demented chords.

L J, I second your comment. A version better than Tony Booth's I don't think can be had.
