Of course. I'm not looking to disparage the pedal or Keith, if he can't replicate the problem I had, he obviously can't fix it.

Chris Wrote My needs are simple. It needs to go silent in the full off position or be adjustable to do this when needed. Smooth, even taper. Holds position when you take your foot off. Just as a side note, the Hilton will do ALL of the above, better then any other pedal out there. The guys on here,...

I had some noise problems, both electrical and physical, that Keith was unable to replicate when the pedal got back to him to check out. Rather than sending a replacement, he chose to send a refund. Other than that, it sounded great! My needs are simple. It needs to go silent in the full off positio...

So, that didn't work out and now I'm in the market for a different volume pedal. What are you guys liking these days?

so do you use alot of volume pedal action playing bass? I do. I'll do subtle flutters imitating tremolo, quick swells to shape notes, controlled sustain, fine level control to enhance dynamics, quick silences for dramatic cutoffs, easy muting between songs, and stuff like that. Mostly useful when I...

OK, I knew about the new model for guitar players but didn't know it was named "pro". I wouldn't have expected a steel guitar player to get one of those. I'm that oddball steel player who plays standing up when I play non-pedal. And when I sit at my pedal steel, I prefer to play barefoot ...

The 7650 Cindy Cashdollar C6 set. I forgot they have more than one C6...

That end up .014, .018, .024, .030, .036, .046 on a 6 string.

G6 D B G E D G Stella is tuned G B D F# A D What would be appropriate guages for G6? It looks like I could use the same for b0b's on an old acoustic. I'm doing these tunings with regular .012 gauge guitar sets. A little loose on top on the short scales and a little tight on the bottom in the long s...

I would suggest taking a look at this tuning if you play a 6 string steel: G6 D B G E D G I just suggested the tuning for a student and strung up one of my old 6 string steels with it and I really, really like it. If your keys are predominantly G C and D, I would say it's a no brainer. The key of G...

Oh man, I miss my Checkmate 50! Mine had replacement speakers and it bore the scars of where someone had tried to wire in a tweeter.

GREAT tremolo on that thing.

Wow. I spent a few hours last night going through the suggested copedents on the site, as well as some of the ones in the 400 manual. Ended up back with my console tuning, but changed the pedals around. P1 P2 P3 P4 G.....................-F# D...+E B.........+C.....-A G E....-D.........+F....-D B.......

So I'm tuned low-high EGBEGBDG, which is my go-to 8-string lap/console tuning. The first pedal raises the D to E, then lowers the middle E to D. I can feel the halfway stop very easily. The second pedal raises the D to E and the high B to C. The third pedal lowers the middle E to D and the high G to...

Hey Tony, thanks! That one was so light.

This 400 is awesome. Got it set up to do what I need from my console, plus a few cool moves and harmonic options. I think I'll play it tomorrow!

I'm kind of wondering what the chances are that I can learn it enough for a gig tomorrow...normally with this group I play a console with an eight string and six string, both necks in a G6 tuning.
